The Palm Beach Surf Lifesaving Club is calling on members of the community to participate in the Bronze Medallion course.
Held on Saturday the 9th of July, the Royal Life Saving Bronze Medallion is recognised as the minimum standard for a qualified lifesaver.
The award provides surf lifesavers with the knowledge to participate in beach patrols or supervise groups of people in the open water environment. Participants will also learn valuable skills in personal survival as well as the skills to develop judgement, technique and the ability to carry out safe water rescues.
If you are interested in helping the community by patrolling our beaches as a volunteer lifesaver, contact Palm Beach SLSC on (07) 5534 2180 or by email at email@example.com.
