Ideas for Dog Owners Palm Beach

Dog walking At Palm Beach Is “Dog Heaven”

Palm Beach & surrounds has numerous pet friendly areas to exercise your dog including many off leash areas. There are two options to exercise your dog off leash and on the beach – North Palm Beach and, South Palm Beach.

South Palm Beach – Palm Beach Parklands

Palm Beach Parklands, or the pirate park as it is affectionately known, is located on the Gold Coast Highway opposite Thrower Drive.  These parklands include a beach and lagoon area where dogs can also swim.  Be mindful of City of Gold Coast signage indicating which specific areas dogs are permitted or you could be subject to a fine. On weekends the area is alive with activity with dogs and children constantly on the move.

North Palm Beach – Tallebudgera Beach, area north of the Tallebudgera bathing reserve to the Tallebudgera Creek entrance

Some of the most popular leash-free areas provide dispensers with dog litter bags. However, you should not rely on their availability and bring along a bag for back-up.
