Sushi at Palm Beach has been a local favourite since it opened its doors last year, offering a diverse range of authentic Japanese cuisine using only the freshest ingredients.
Angel Ng took over the business in March 2017 and has not only made changes to the space and cut prices but fallen in love with our spectacular region and friendly locals.
We had a chat to Angel about her experience as a first time business owner, what makes Sushi at Palm Beach different and what it’s like to have a business in our seaside suburb.
What do you like the most about having your own business?
Having my own business is amazing, especially when my customers become my friends and fans. I also believe I can bring happiness to people.
Have you made any changes to the business?
I have made many changes to the business since I took it over. I lowered all the prices and also offer some all-day specials which make my customers very happy!
What makes Sushi at Palm Beach different?
The main difference is that you’ll feel at home when you’re here. I put all the customers’ comments and photos on the new VIP wall and you will feel comfortable and relaxed. We have delicious food, friendly staff and great service.
What should someone visiting Sushi at Palm Beach for the first time try?
The most popular item on the menu is the Karaage Rice and you’re guaranteed to come back for more! I also recommend trying our Aburi Salmon Nigiri.
What do you love about having your business located in Palm Beach?
The best thing is that Palmy locals are so amazingly beautiful! Customers support is always my biggest motivation and I’m truly blessed to have a beautiful team that makes my dream come true. A big thank you to all my staff and customers – I love you all to bits!
