Palm Beach Parklands Gets Facelift

Palm Beach Parklands Gets Facelift

One of the Gold Coast’s signature parks is getting a well-deserved facelift.

Complete with pirate ship themed playground, Palm Beach Parklands is one of the Gold Coast’s favourite parks, with easy access to the surf beach, wide pathways to cycle and walk, and lots of space to play.

Improvement works including new turf, irrigation, painting and maintenance will begin on 6 February, with the playground, barbecues and picnic shelters reopening to the public on 20 February. Some fencing will remain in the wider parklands area to help areas of new turf grow until the end of March.

Palm Beach Parklands have been enjoyed by families for many years and we want to be able to continue to enjoy this beautiful park and playground for many years to come. We are investing $50,000 to keep it safe, clean and green.

The Oceanway path will remain open to pedestrians during the works.

A nearby park with a popular playground is Laguna Park (Laguna Avenue, Palm Beach).
