Plant theft in Palm Beach

Locals are urged to keep an eye out for plant thieves as work is in progress to undertake further landscape plantings in Palm Beach Avenue.

Council has already had more than 500 plants stolen from recent plantings from the city parks, gardens, roundabouts and road verges, costing ratepayers more than $6000 each year.

Despite CCTV cameras being installed to help combat the problem, plant theft still continues across the city.

Nearby businesses and residents are asked to keep watch for thieves and report any sightings to the police or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
