The Department of Main Roads will be starting a new project on the corner of Palm Beach Avenue and the Gold Coast Highway to replace traffic signal equipment and improve pedestrian facilities.
The roadworks are expected to start on the 4th April and take around three months to complete. During this time, day works will be carried out from 7am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, with some night works throughout June for two weeks.
Palm Beach locals can expect some changed traffic conditions, including speed limits, pedestrians and noise.
During this time, residents are urged to obey the traffic signals, speed limits and take care through the road work zones throughout the process to improve our local area.
