Before unveiling their new look centre, The Pines Elanora is calling on the community to take a trip down memory lane by sharing any photos, flyers and newspaper clippings of The Pines from the decades since it opened in 1987.
Photos and stories can be shared over the coming months, in order to compile a visual storybook of the Elanora community, all the way through to the present day, showcasing the story of The Pines and the evolution of the local area over the past three decades.
The Pines is now a place where people come together, friends meet for a coffee and families spend time together after school – but it’s come a long way since the first foundations were laid.
Join in re-creating the story of our community shopping centre – plus there is a special giveaway for whoever has the fondest memory of The Pines.
Send in your photos and stories by 30 October by emailing them to firstname.lastname@example.org, posting them on The Pines Facebook page or sharing them on Instagram, tagging @thepineselanora. Alternatively, they can be dropped in to Centre Management between now and 30 October.
