Skate 2 Clean

Skate 2 Clean

Six Gold Coast skate parks will be competing against each other in the Skate 2 Clean community challenge.

The initiative which launched at the Elanora Skate Park on the 9th of November encourages locals to do the right thing by picking up the trash, reducing vandalism and keeping their park clean.

Over a three month period, the cleanest skate park out of Elanora, Nerang, Mudgeeraba, Varsity, Pizzey Park and Tugun, will then be awarded with the opportunity to host a free community event with live skate demonstrations, giveaways, prizes, music and recognition from City of Gold Coast.

The program not only aims to clean up the skate parks but makes local kids aware of the impact of rubbish and engages with the sport in a positive way.
