Thrower House is hosting a wide range of fun and free activities these school holidays for young people aged between 12 and 17 years.
Located at Salk Oval, Palm Beach, Thrower House encourages youth to be involved in outdoor activities, exercise and games with the school holiday program run by the Wesley Mission on behalf of the City of Gold Coast.
From art to dance classes to sports and even a mini Olympics, these free community-run and fully supervised programs aim to encourage young people off the couch or internet and into the fresh air to make new friends and to learn new things.
You’re sure to find something to keep all kids occupied as other holiday program activities include cooking classes, skateboarding, swimming, talent shows and discos.
The City of Gold Coast and Thrower House are committed to fostering a sense of community and belonging among our younger people.
The first week’s activities run from 14 – 18 December 2015; the second week from 4 to 8 January 2016; week three runs from 11 to 15 January 2016; and week four starts on 18 January and concludes on 22 of January 2016.
