Palm Beach Christmas by the Sea
Christmas by the Sea is a regular annual Christmas event for the Palm Beach community and surrounds. A Christmas extravaganza and celebration of the silly season, the free family friendly event showcases Christmas- southern Gold Coast style and features live musical entertainment, face painting, a barnyard animal enclosure, Christmas carols and a special visit from Santa.
Keep an eye out for dates, and bring the whole family to enjoy an evening of Christmas cheer under the stars with the local community.

Palm Beach Community Market
One man’s junk is another man’s treasure and the Palm Beach community market is sure to have some hidden gems.
The market is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month at Palm Beach Avenue from 7.30am to 12pm.
With a cake stall and coffee hut, sausage sizzle, handmade crafts, local bananas, plants and seedlings as well as recycled, upcycled and pre loved items amongst the mix, you’re sure to find yourself a bargain.

Palmy Sunday Funday

These free event features the musical talents of local artists across the summer.

Dragon Boats are a great way to meet new friends, get fit and stay active and healthy while spending time out on the water.
The Akuna Dragon Boat Club have a FREE ‘come & try’ session every Saturday morning starting at 7am and finishing at 9am on the Currumbin Creek. Just bring a hat, water, sunscreen and a smile!

Each year, Seniors Week is celebrated throughout August, with several activities planned by Southern Gold Coast 60s & Better to celebrate Seniors Week in Palm Beach and surrounds.
Coordinated by the Council on the Ageing (COTA) Queensland, with funding from the Queensland Government, Seniors Week aims to improve community attitudes towards older people and ageing, facilitate community participation and activity by older people, and enhance community connections and inter-generational relationships.

The Palm Beach Avenue Markets are held on every third Saturday of the month from 7am to 12 noon.
