Discover the Benefits of Yoga at Gold Coast Yoga Centre

Gold Coast Yoga Centre has been serving the Gold Coast with transformational yoga classes since 1996, moving from Burleigh to Palm Beach in 2003.

Running three to five yoga and meditation classes each day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, the teachers at Gold Coast Yoga Centre have over 120 years of teaching experience behind them and are dedicated to yoga as a practice, a vocation and a life path.

We had a chat to Director and senior teacher Suzanne Gray, who has been involved in yoga full time since 1994.

What inspired you to start the business?
I loved yoga from day one and it quickly became the most important thing in my life. I read, practiced, ate, slept and breathed yoga and wanted to share the benefits with others.

Why should people practice yoga?
Yoga is a practice that has been developed over thousands of years and is a complete system for body, mind and soul.  I was able to overcome significant back and neck injuries, digestive issues, menstrual problems, lack of focus and purpose in life, grief and other personal challenges through yoga and meditation, yoga philosophy and mindfulness.  Many of our students find that their lives improve physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually through yoga.

What is the best part about your job?
Sharing these inspiring teachings to help students learn, grow and transform themselves and their lives.

What do you like most about having your business in this region?
Palm Beach is turning into more of a metropolitan hub as the years go by and we love being accessible to many people within this vibrant community so that we can share what we do at Gold Coast Yoga Centre.

Gold Coast Yoga Centre offers a range of classes from beginner to advanced, meditation, yoga and health workshops, yoga philosophy, retreats, Kirtan concerts, private coaching and apprentice teacher training.  They also have a full yoga shop onsite and an extensive yoga library.
